Welcome to Setanta Triathlon Club
The Setanta Triathlon Club was founded in Dundalk in 2004 and our goal is to offer support to those just starting out in the sport or those looking to improve and become more competitive. Our membership includes athletes training for their first duathlons and sprint distance races; experienced triathletes that compete in National Series and ITU events; and those preparing for long distance events, such as IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3.
Whether you’re looking for information on joining the club or just trying to keep updated on club activities, training sessions, race results or social events, we hope you’ll find what you’re looking for. Is Triathlon for Me?
Triathlon is a sport that is social, challenging and a lot of fun. Moreover, it can be taken up by anyone regardless of age, gender and fitness. If you can’t swim – no problem, Why not take part in a duathlon (bike and run). We also run excellent beginners swim training programs and more information on these can be found in the Training section of the site.

Swim group continues this Saturday March 9th in Felda. We are doing a time trail this week, if you have a stop watch that works swimming please bring. All setanta members welcome. Doors locked @ 6.55.am. 2 Euro a session.
